Clinician Bios/Session Descriptions:
Reading/Clinic Band:
You are cordially invited to paricipate in the reading band for two sessions on Sunday, August 9th and one on August 10. The first session (1:00 - 3:00 pm) will be our Reading Band Session for new band compositions, co-conducted by Mark Brenner and Frank Turso. The second session (3:30 - 5:00) will make use of the clinic band for “Musical Decision Making” and will be led by our featured clinician, Captain David Paroby. The third reading session on August 10 (10:15 - 11:30 am), "Have You Heard What's New in the NYSSMA Manual", will be lead by Melinda Speidel and David Hurd. Be sure to indicate your interest in playing in the Reading/Clinic Band on your conference registration form.
