Chris Vangellow

Chris has been a part of the Northern Music & Video family since birth. He has dedicated his life to learning about all things professional audio from industry, authority, and father, Alex Vangellow. Since his official arrival in 2005, Chris has ensured the continued success of Northern Music & Video by designing numerous house sound systems for churches, schools, and colleges all over the Northern New York area. Chris also manages the professional keyboard, guitar, and mixer division of Northern Music & Video, while running his private DJ business and playing drums in numerous bands in his "spare" time. Chris is currently the Senior Professional Audio Salesperson and Buyer for Northern Music & Video in Potsdam, NY.

Clinic: Practical Digital Recording from Classroom to Concert

In this session, you will learn about simple & inexpensive ways to record your soloists, lesson groups, or ensembles. Take part in creating digital archives of all your rehearsals and performances with devices that fit in your hand. A few simple steps will allow you to record a concert and listen to it on your way home! Extensive computer knowledge is not necessary. Several products will be demonstrated and compared throughout the clinic.
