Bradley 5th and 6th Grade Band - Jo Anne Goodemote, Conductor
Jo Anne Goodemote has been an instrumental educator for fifteen years. The last eight have been with the New Hartford School District, nationally rated as a top community for music education by the American Music Conference. Previously she has had the pleasure of working with the Beacon, Genesee Valley, and Cheektowaga Central school districts. She has had the opportunity to work with elementary, middle, and high school level students. In addition to the bands yearly scheduled concerts, her Bradley 5th and 6th grade band enjoys attending NYSSMA Majors where it has received Gold ratings. She has enjoyed playing trumpet for school musicals, conducting district band, and working with marching band. She was privileged to conduct both the Onondaga and Oneida Elementary All County’s last year. Mrs. Goodemote holds a Bachelor’s of Music from the Crane School at Potsdam and a Masters of Music from the School of Music at Fredonia. She resides in Oneida with her husband and two children. Mrs. Goodemote is honored to bring her 5th and 6th grade band to this year’s 2010 NYSBDA Symposium.
