Membership in the jazz ensemble is by audition. The group annually receives high ratings at national festivals . Performances locally include the Rochester International Jazz Festival and the Lilac Festival.

Jeffrey Greene
Jeffrey Greene is the band director at Greece - Olympia High School and a graduate of Ithaca College. He was selected by NYSBDA as the Outstanding Band Director in 2000. He conducts the Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble and Pit Orchestra. His groups have been invited to perform on two previous occasions at the Symposium.
