Clinic: Expanding Instrumental Skills through Band Literature

Students need the musical skills to understand and perform music literature at it's highest level no matter what grade level. We as teachers need to supply our students with a musical vocabulary of substance.

To quote Ray Cramer:   An educational approach which emphasizes the development of comprehensive musical knowledge and teaches musicianship will lead to a broader and meaningful experiences for everyone involved.
