Glen Grigel is familiar to NYSBDA Conference attendees, having presented workshops annualy since 1990. Glen is in his 18th year of service as instrumental technician at the Crane School of Music where he is charged with the maintenance of all school-owned woodwind, brass, stringed, and percussion instruments. The Crane inventory includes important models of all current and defunct manufacturers of the last 50 years.
Prior to his work at Crane, Glen was employed by Dikmar Music (Bowling Green, Ohio), Goetz Music (Tiffin, Ohio), and Central Music (Rochester, NY).
He is a 1977 music education/trumpet graduate of Ithaca College. Glen serves as a consultant to Upper Canada Village, Morrisburg, Canada.
