We hope you were fortunate enough to be able to attend the recent NYS Summer Music Conference in Albany (8/8-8/10). NYSBDA would like to thank both Tracy DeRagon and Patrick Beauregard for their wonderful work in assembling the band offerings for NYSSMC 2010. Working in tandem, they obtained clinics and clinicians that were practical, eye opening and interesting. Coordinating all of this within the NYSSMA framework takes a great deal of patience, creativity and flexibility. Thanks to Tracy and Pat for your devoted work! Visit the Summer Conference page to review the recent offerings.

Dr. Joel Ratner of the Brentwood C.S.D. and Dr. Mark Fonder and the Concert Band from Ithaca College will give presentations sponsored by NYSBDA at the 2010 Winter Conference in Rochester. For more information, click on the Winter Conference link at the left.
